Questions parents ask

A guide to choosing a subject, sharing your child’s learning needs and requesting a tutor.

How do I choose a subject or programme?

Start with your child’s school subject. If you know the curriculum or exam, select it too. You can choose Not sure and tell us about the schoolwork or goal.

Are all listed services available?

The catalogue is the planned service range. Actual tutor availability must be confirmed for the subject, exact curriculum, lesson format and teaching language.

What is the difference between a subject and a curriculum?

Mathematics is a subject. Cambridge IGCSE, IB Diploma and CBSE are programme or curriculum contexts. We keep these separate so that the request describes the actual support required.

Is the lesson booked when I submit the form?

No. The form requests a tutor match or availability check. Lesson time, tutor and fees are confirmed separately before any booking.

Can lessons be taught in another language?

You can request a teaching language. A tutor who can teach the subject in that language must be available; a catalogue entry does not guarantee every language combination.

How are grade names handled?

School year or grade is recorded together with the programme. A grade number or age is not assumed to mean the same school stage in every curriculum.
